1 Week Old. Eyes are not opened yet, Noses are in various stages of turning black as you can see. Dewclaws are removed and all healed well. Tummies are round and all the puppies do is sleeeeeep.

What. A. Day……Puppies!

The day started out normal, Lily was looking tired of being pregnant, but not laborish either.  Two hours later she was contracting. I gathered all the littles around to watch puppy #3 be born for their lesson in biology/science for the day Winking smile

Here is Lily taking a half hour nap before the last two pups arrived, she was so tired. She is such a good mama and is crazy attentive to, and won’t leave, her puppies.

Puppies, a little at a time...

Unfortunately, both Pansy and Willow only had one puppy each, both boys. Lily is taking her own sweet time having her litter. she is now a day passed her first due date. How many puppies do you think she will have? I say definitely not just one.
